Regular and consistent mold maintenance is essential for keeping your risk of re-exposure low and your symptoms manageable. This includes cleaning air, surfaces, clothing, and belongings. Our home maintenance products are especially formulated to help you do just that.
Maintain a low-mold environment by misting all surfaces, belongings, carpets, rugs, furnishings, etc. with EC3 Mold Spray or EC3 Mold Solution Concentrate mixed per bottle instructions. We recommend doing this weekly, or more often if mold counts do not go down. High touch surfaces should be cleaned with EC3 Wipes to remove dirt, debris, and mold spores. Bathrooms or kitchen areas susceptible to staining and microbial growth should be cleaned using EC3 Enzyme Cleaner Concentrate diluted or used full-strength per bottle instructions. You can also use the EC3 Sanitizer Fogger to treat larger areas or rooms with EC3 Mold Solution monthly or more frequently, if desired.
Should mold counts remain high after re-checking your environment with EC3 Mold Screening Test Plates and ensuring there is no moisture intrusion or active mold growth, simply continue to deep clean using the EC3 products until you achieve the results required for health. Any items covered with visible mold should be discarded.
EC3 Air Purification Candles can also be used regularly to lower mold levels in the indoor air. As for clothing and any washable items, they can be cleaned using EC3 Laundry Additive.
Your bed can be a major source of potential exposure, too. As sleep is crucial for recovery,we highly recommend using EC3 Laundry Additive on sheets and bedding every time you wash them.
