Gives an obvious result when viewing after 5-7 day wait

I tested several rooms and a mattress. All turned out fine with nothing showing but the mattress. It showed some mold but not enough to be concerned. I moved it in and we are doing okay. I like the fact that there is a test for a decent price that can be done preliminarily.

My family and I have been sick for 2 years with no explanation but we recently discovered a serious mold issue in our basement. I was so frantic trying to figure out how to be sure that we were safe again once it had been removed, knowing that mold spores were still in our furniture, carpets, clothes and more. These test plates were incredibly accurate and helped us identify the items in our home that were beyond saving or safe to keep. I was ready to throw out all of our living room furniture but these confirmed that the EC3 Mold Solution Cleaner worked and removed all of the mold spores! On the flip side, another test indicated the carpet was beyond repair and needed to go. I felt such peace of mind being able to know, without a doubt, whether or not our items were safe. They are easy to use and extremely affordable. Every home in America should have these and use them yearly, at the very least. We spent hundreds having our home tested with an "air quality test" from mold professionals and it came back NEGATIVE when we did, in fact, have a very serious issue. We have decided to move due to financial hardship and these have been great to test our potential new homes. I can't say enough good things about this product!

We’ve spent the last year remediating and evaluating our home after mold was found. Lately we have been using the test kit to determine whether and items we hoped to be safe and clean really are. We had professionally cleaned a couple of small area rugs and 3 upholstered chairs we had hoped to keep. After testing we found that they were still moldy and we disposed of them. We also tested other items and rooms and found them clear of the mold showing our efforts successful. I’ve purchased additional kits to test the last things I couldn’t face getting rid of to make sure I’m in a clean environment to heal. I’m thankful for this inexpensive way to follow up on other professional testing to clear the remaining items from our home.

I have unfortunately been exposed to mold multiple times and have had very traumatic experiences with it. I once again recently was exposed to it but didn’t have a way to prove it other than my body was shutting down. I ordered these, tested my studio, and wham- severe levels with over 10 different species of mold appeared in the Petri dishes. I showed my landlords immediately which then immediately terminated my lease and I began the process of “anti- molding” all my belongings and healing my body. I pray my old landlords fix their unit before renting it out to anyone else but I doubt it unfortunately… However I am safe and healing and this test validated what I already knew about my life being in danger and I am forever grateful for this company ?❤️

I was skeptical but took a chance and bought these. I wanted a baseline before I started using the mold spray around the house. I had to reach out to customer service, however, because several of the discs were cracked upon arrival and that kind of freaked me out knowing there was going to be mold growing in them. They told me to put tape over the spots, which made it a little harder to see the results but worked I guess.

The test plates are extremely sensitive and effective but if any air gets inside the individual sealed package envelopes during the shipping process, mold can grow. This is rare, and we take every precaution, but it can occur due to the nature of the product. We will always assist you and make sure you get replacement plates if this ever happens. Again, I am very about this.

I have purchased three of these test kits so far. My previous home had mold in it. We had our air tested there and it came back in a safe range so the professional who tested the air said we didn’t have to worry about our furniture or any of our stuff. Fast-forward two years later and I’m having continuous health problems. I couldn’t get it out of my head that it was related to that mold, so I purchased this test kit, and tested all the furniture in my house and it was completely covered in mold . I paid $1500 for a company to come out and fog the house with a chemical that smelled very strong like a pool in my house for a week, a week later I retested all the furniture and it was down maybe 10%. I decided to purchase the The EC3 environmental kit, I began to almost daily spray my furniture with the EC3 mold spray, and every couple of days burn a candle in each of the rooms. I washed all of our bedding and anything that could fit in the machine with the laundry additive. I vacuumed all of our furniture and continued spraying the EC three mold spray. A few days ago I did another petri dish test and I just looked at my petri dish and there’s hardly any growth in there! I am so excited about this. I cannot thank this company enough. I really wish I had spent my money on the fogger system with this company instead of hiring that company that didn’t do anything for me.

I bought these based upon recommendation because I've suspected I've been dealing with mold in my bathroom. Not only was there an unhealthy/ dangerous amount of mold in my bathroom but every room had unhealthy levels of mold! I will be purchasing these again to re-test. They were easy to use, clear instructions and you can't beat the price point.

These plates were helpful to get a general idea of the concentration of mold spores in our home, room by room, to know where to focus our cleaning (and decluttering) efforts.

This was my first time plate testing so I went through the expected initial shock that some areas were high count. Will send off to labs for further analysis, but on first look, mold is pretty much everywhere.
