The EC3 Air Purification Candle is a simple way to control mold spore levels in the indoor air. The heat from the burning wick aerosolizes the natural botanical embedded in the soy wax. The wax has no added fragrances to avoid inflaming the chemical sensitivities common in sinusitis sufferers. Each candle will burn for approximately 12 hours. Introducing our air purifying candles: the EC3 Air Purification Candle! These candles are designed to reduce mold counts and mycotoxin levels in the indoor air. Each candle is made with soy wax and a blend of natural, citrus seed botanicals. EC3 candles contain no added fragrance or chemicals and are best used in conjunction with our EC3 Mold Spray.
How do our candles work? The heat from the burning wick aerosolizes the natural botanicals embedded in the soy wax. The botanicals are both antifungal and antimicrobial. As they disperse, they work to deactivate mold spores and to bring particulates out of the air. The candles’ ingredients were specifically chosen so as not to inflame chemical sensitivities that are common in those who suffer from sinusitis and mold illness. Each candle burns for approximately 16 hours and is designed to treat a 600-square-foot indoor space.

Open candle and place on flat surface inside of metal lid, away from walls, and flammable items. Burn for 3 hours continuously on first use to achieve optimal effects. Burn for one hour each day afterwards for mold maintenance. When finished burning, use a candle snuffer to put the flame out. We do not recommend blowing it out. Trim tip of wick before each use for best results. This reduces soot and smoke indoors. Each candle has a burn life of approximately 16 hours. A general guideline is to use one candle per 600 square feet of indoor space. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not leave burning candle unattended. Do not use EC3 Air Purification Candles if you are allergic to soy.

New house
Moving into a new house and wanted to have an easy way to fight any smells or potential mold. I like them. I will get the beeswax ones next. You do need to use it for a few hours the first time so it burns consistently

EC3 Candles
I love these EC3 candles and have proven that they work through ERMI testing and retesting. We had some roof leaks on our new build and ended up having elevated levels of an asthma-inducing mold. We cleaned with EC3 spray and used the candles. When we retested, the asthma mold was no longer elevated (and even more importantly, my husband was no longer having ashtma). Not a replacement for remediation if that is needed, of course - but in our case this was enough. I recommend to all of my clients who are living the mold nightmare!

The candles have really helped with keeping the smell of mold down from the water in the basement. The basement will have to be completely redone and cleaned professionally but the candles have helped so much until we can get the basement remediated.

These candles have been saving my life for so many years. I live in an apartment complex, and it is definitely not all the way mold free. There are weeks, where I do not use the candle, and I will notice that I need to light it, and all of my congestive symptoms go away, my fatigue gets better, my cognitive gets better. They truly work.

Candles give me peace of mind!
Ordered these for a beach trip I am going on and wanted to burn these while staying in the resort. Well my car got rained in and I decided to use a few in the car while doing my best to dry it out. It helped clean the air while it was burning but still has a musty smell once the candles are done so I am assuming it helps while its burning. Anyway, while it was burning it didn't smell so I know it works!

Upon ordering these I was pretty skeptical. How can a candle get rid of mycotoxins. But it worked great and keeps flares at bay. Love them.

I like these candles. They have no notable fragrance (a huge plus for anyone mold sensitive), and while the effects are subtle, I do think they help with the musty smell in the bathroom and my sensitivities, while we're awaiting proper remediation.
